High Performance Exhaust builds | we don’t do cheap, it won’t last
Exhaust systems are either made of stainless steel or mild steel. Almost any muffler shop can make you a mild steel exhaust.
Performance Shops know when to create real world solutions ...
...without a hammer & chisel. Want real performance, choose your shop wisely.
When to add a Supercharger | Differences matter
At our altitude, it is difficult to make significant power gains. If you want a serious bump you can feel, a supercharger is your best option.
Rod Bearing Failure | Subaru Engine Replacement
Rod bearing failure is common with Subaru Motors. The new FA series even more so than the older EJ series. FA motors are failing at stock power levels. Even mild upgrades require a built motor.
Bearing failure can occur on any motor, at any time, with any oil. The best prevention is to make a properly built motor a priority. Get it right and your motor will last.
Build quality matters more than the oil your use. Proper clearances during the build will prevent bearing failure better than anything else. Stock bearings with proper clearances will last longer than race bearings with bad clearances.
ProCharger Builds, why not add forced induction?
When improving flow through headers, cams, intake isn’t enough especially here at 5000 ft. Forced induction maybe your answer.
Subaru Firewall Repairs | The repair of the actual failed welds on the Subaru firewall is a simple process...
... of drilling, bolting, adding structural / weatherproof adhesive to maintain a weather seal and lining up all parts to OEM specs.
Do I need an Air Oil Separator? What if I have a Catch Can? Here is the real world difference
Performance Cars | Air oil separators and catch cans. They do basically the same thing, or do they?
A recent post by a popular YouTuber got me thinking about these devices. Let’s put some real world experience on this topic.
Performance Exhaust System Repairs | When a quick fix isn’t going to work
Exhaust System Repair | A large portion of the work we do is with exhaust systems.
We are constantly replacing or modifying exhaust pipes to flow better, make different sounds, hold sensors and keep performance cars passing emissions testing in Colorado.
When it comes to modifying existing systems, the most common work we do is repairing damaged Stainless Steel pipes and installing missing emissions components.
