dyno shop denver coloradoThings at 5250performance have been a blur the last few weeks.

All cleaned up and caught up from the Rocky Mountain Subaru Festival. We had a great showing with some beautiful cars we've built for our customers. It was great to put some faces to names and really reach out to the community.

dyno tune coloradoThe really big news is our new dyno. We have an expected delivery date of early next week and we've been busy preparing it's new home. Our 6000 sqft facility already had a perfect side room isolated from the rest of the shop with it's own full size garage door. It has just screamed for a dyno since the day we moved in.

We've put a fresh coat of paint on the walls and a beautiful epoxy coating on the floor.

  • We even went through the trouble of sealing the rubber base moulding to the floor. This prevents any spills from getting under the walls making for easy cleanups. The whole room can be washed out with a hose.

Those were the easy preparations. We still have to drill 4 inch cores in the concrete for anchor points to tie the cars down. The existing concrete is not thick enough in places. In these areas, we will have to cut out a large section of the floor, dig deeper into the ground, and pour a new mini slab of concrete. Once the new mini slab cures, we still have to drill out the core and set the anchor.

There's some minor electrical work and and compressed air lines to install. The ventilation system is being designed and put together. The last major hurdle will be our in-house made custom dyno loading ramps. To make loading and unloading of the dyno easier for low clearance vehicles, we are using a 2 stage ramp system. Even lowered vehicles can play on our dyno.

Our goal is to provide the best automotive experience for driving enthusiasts who love their cars enough to demand quality horsepower upgrades.
